I have extensive experience of offering consultations, assessments, and brief and long-term psychotherapy to help people with a wide variety of difficulties across different age groups.
I am a qualified child & adolescent psychotherapist and adult psychoanalytic psychotherapist, a full member of the Association of Child Psychotherapy, the British Psychotherapy Foundation, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and the British Psychoanalytic Council. I studied at the Universities of Manchester (BA(Hons) Psychology – First Class) and Cambridge (MPhil) before training at the Centro Studi Martha Harris in Florence, Italy, the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust, London, and the British Psychotherapy Foundation. I specialise in work with children, young adults and families, as well as working with adults. In addition to my Kensington practice, I currently work at the Brent Centre for Young People and the Belmont School Mill Hill.
I have been working with children and young people in various capacities for 20 years, in the last 13 years as a psychotherapist in the NHS, schools, the charity sector and privately. As well as direct clinical work, I offer supervision and consultation to counselling, teaching and senior management staff in schools. I have been a visiting lecturer at the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust and at the Caspari Foundation/University of Middlesex MA Educational Psychotherapy.
I was co-chair of the child section of the Tavistock Society for Psychotherapists between 2008-2013.
I offer individual and group supervision to psychotherapists/counsellors working with children and adolescents.
I speak fluent Italian and Spanish.
